From Zero Sales to 30,000+ Orders Using Meta Ads

Fashion eCommerce | Meta Ads | Snapchat Ads | Kuwait

Client Overview

A fast-fashion women’s brand operating across Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman, targeting urban women aged 18–44. Despite having a strong Instagram presence with over 80K followers, its paid advertising campaigns were generating virtually no sales.

The Challenge

Before launching any optimization efforts, we conducted a comprehensive account audit. What we found was painful—but entirely fixable.

ROAS at Only 1.9X

Revenue was barely covering advertising costs. Once product and shipping expenses were considered, profitability was impossible.

No Product Catalog or Dynamic Product Ads

Dozens of products were being promoted without Dynamic Product Ads (DPA). Every advertisement had to be built manually, resulting in wasted opportunities and poor scalability.

78% Checkout Abandonment Rate

More than three-quarters of users who reached the checkout page left without completing their purchase. The issue was clearly within the user experience—not the product itself.

No Audience Segmentation or Funnel Logic

The same message was shown to every audience segment regardless of where they were in the customer journey. Cold audiences, engaged visitors, and purchase-ready customers all received identical ads.

Strategy

We implemented a Meta Advantage+ Shopping structure supported by highly targeted retargeting campaigns. Before scaling advertising efforts, we completely rebuilt the tracking infrastructure and product catalog.

Meta Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns

Fully automated shopping campaigns powered by an optimized catalog for every SKU. Our role was to provide accurate data; the algorithm handled buyer discovery.

Dynamic Product Ads for Cart Abandoners

Users who added products to their cart but failed to complete their purchase were automatically retargeted with dynamic ads featuring the exact products they viewed, combined with a 10% discount offer.

This strategy alone generated 34% of total sales.

Checkout Experience Optimization

The checkout process was redesigned with three payment options, fewer required fields, and stronger trust signals. Checkout completion rates increased by more than four times.

Buyer-Based Lookalike Audiences

Lookalike audiences were built from actual purchasers over the previous 30, 60, and 90 days—not from website visitors or social media followers, but from real customers who completed transactions.

Execution

Technical Rebuild

The Meta Pixel was reinstalled and configured with complete Standard Events:

A new product catalog containing 30 optimized SKUs was created with high-quality imagery and conversion-focused product titles.

Creative Testing

We tested:

Ads featuring urgency-driven messaging such as “Sale Ends Today” outperformed standard creatives by 2.7X.

Scaling Phase

Advertising spend increased from KWD 800/month to KWD 5,200/month within 90 days while maintaining a ROAS above 20X throughout the scaling process.

Zero returns were recorded during this period.

Key Insight

The Biggest Revenue Driver

Dynamic Product Ads targeting cart abandoners with a 10% discount generated 34% of total sales while costing less than one-quarter of cold traffic acquisition campaigns.

Additionally, optimizing the product catalog through higher-quality imagery, stronger product titles, and SEO-focused naming conventions increased DPA click-through rates by 188%.

This demonstrated that improving product feed quality and retargeting strategy often delivers a greater impact than increasing advertising spend alone.
